Cedar Hills Continuing Education Series provides relevant, emerging topics clinicians face in the behavioral health field today. We offer a variety of topics each month and provide a wonderful space for networking and learning.
Professionals in the field of mental health and addiction are encouraged to attend regardless of credentials. Most of our trainings are three hours in length, with some variation in length depending on the topic. Each training subject focuses on a behavioral health or addiction topic with qualified or licensed presenters who are considered experts in their respective fields. Registration is required to attend.
Cedar Hills Continuing Education Series provides continuing education units through NASW Oregon and Washington chapters, and ACCBO on addiction specific trainings. Many licensing boards do not require prior approval of training content for CEU credits, please check with your respective board in your state for any questions regarding the continuing education requirements for your license or certification. Cedar Hills Hospital and Outpatient Services is not responsible for any CEU credits not being accepted by your respective board.
Thank you for your support of the Cedar Hills Continuing Education Series!
The 2018 Series
On September 28th, Cedar Hills Hospital is proudly sponsoring an event with Asha International called Grit & Grace: A Multicultural Women’s Mental Health Conference. The conference will examine the unique mental health needs of women, focusing on a multitude of factors such as childhood experiences, social and cultural influences, race & ethnicity, immigration & acculturation, class, gender, poverty, homelessness, violence, and trauma. While the conference topics focus primarily on women’s experiences around mental health, all perspectives matter so both men and women are encouraged to attend! Also, those who attend the entire conference will receive six (6) CEUs. It’s going to be a great event and we expect a full house, so please register today.
