Brian Esparza, MD, Psychiatry, Diplomate of the American Board of Addiction Medicine
Dr. Brian Esparza completed both his medical education and residency training at the University Of Washington School Of Medicine. As a graduate of a top ten medical school in the country, Dr. Esparza is well trained with evidence based treatment. He currently serves as the medical director for Cedar Hills Hospital and Outpatient Services. Dr. Esparza has a particular interest in chemical dependency treatment and co-occurring disorders. He is a member of the American Board of Addiction Medicine and he is board certified in Psychiatry. Dr. Esparza is bilingual and fluent in English and Spanish.
Phyll Zuberi, MD, Psychiatry
Medical Director, The Military Program
Dr. Phyll Zuberi currently serves as the medical director of The Military Program at Cedar Hills Hospital. He earned his medical degree at King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. Dr. Zuberi completed his residency at U.T. Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and a fellowship in geriatric psychiatry at the University of Florida. He enjoys working with the military to collaborate and provide evidence-based treatment for our US military service members.
Bryan Dixon III, MD
Dr. Bryan Dixon serves as an attending psychiatrist for the all of our mental health and chemical dependency programs. He earned his medical degree at Texas Tech School of Medicine in Lubbock, Texas. Dr. Dixon completed his residency in psychiatry at the University of North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and is board certified in psychiatry.
Neha Gauri, MD
Dr. Neha Gauri is a skilled psychiatrist with more than seven years of experience working with patients in hospitals and community health centers. She earned her medical degree from Lady Hardinge Medical College in New Delhi and completed her residency at the University at Buffalo Medical School. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Gauri enjoys working with the multidisciplinary team at Cedar Hills and brings years of expertise in working with patients who have co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders, a specialty CHH provides to our community.
Utako Sekiya, MD
Dr. Utako Sekiya is a staff psychiatrist in the mental health program at Cedar Hills Hospital. She earned her medical degree from Fujita Health University in Toyoake, Japan. She completed her residency in the Department of Psychiatry at Oregon Health & Science University and a fellowship in “Cross-Cultural Traumatic Stress” at the Intercultural Clinic at OHSU. Dr. Sekiya received intensive training for culturally sensitive psychotherapy for Asian immigrants via an interpreter. Dr. Sekiya is fluent in English and Japanese.
Ann Childers, MD
Dr. Ann Childers is a board certified psychiatrist with a passionate interest in regaining our physical and mental health through nutrition and sleep. Dr. Childers received her medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University. She completed her residency and internship at Wright Patterson Air Force Base/Wright State University. She completed a fellowship at Tripler Army Medical Center. She served in the US Air Force beginning in 1992, honorably discharged at the rank of Major (0-4) in 2000.
Vandana Bindal, MD
Internal Medicine Physician
Dr. Vandana Bindal is a board certified internal medicine physician who works with patients on the short-term management of their physical health needs while in treatment at Cedar Hills Hospital. She earned her medical degree from Sawai Man Singh Medical College in Rajasthan, India. Dr. Bindal completed her residency in internal medicine at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, an affiliate of Cornell University. She brings 18 years of medical expertise to Cedar Hills Hospital.
Robbie Bahl, MD, DABFM
Medical Director, Cedar Hills Outpatient Services
Dr. Robbie Bahl serves as the medical director for Cedar Hills Outpatient Services. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine and board eligible for the Addiction Medicine Board Certification (ABAM). Dr. Bahl completed his fellowship in addiction medicine at Columbia University at the Addiction Institute of New York. He completed his residency program at Drexel University School of Medicine. Dr. Bahl specializes in addiction and enjoys working with patients in need of medication assisted therapies.
