Marty Perry, LPC
Director, Compliance / Risk Management / Performance Improvement

Marty Perry began working at Cedar Hills Hospital as the Director of Assessment Services and has since stepped into his current role as Director of Performance Improvement. Additionally, he currently serves as the hospital’s Compliance Officer and its Privacy Officer. Marty received a master’s degree from the University of North Texas in Counseling Psychology, after which he worked in a community mental health setting and later a private counseling practice. Marty went on to eventually join the management team of a psychiatric hospital in Texas and then a substance abuse treatment center in Minnesota before moving to Portland in 2009 to join the Cedar Hills team that opened the hospital.

Alisha Kauffman, MS, QMHP
Manager of Assessment

Alisha Kauffman has enjoyed working at Cedar Hills Hospital in the admission and referral department since March 2015. She currently works as the Manager of Assessments and Referrals. She earned her B.A. in Biology and Psychology from Newman University and a master’s degree in Psychology from Walden University. Alisha has experience working with adults in mental health and addictions since 2010.

Shanna Branham, LCSW
Director of Clinical Services

Shanna Branham, LCSW, CCM, is the Director of Clinical Services at Cedar Hills Hospital. She has been working in the human services field for over 20 years, which has afforded her the opportunity to work with varying populations, at venues including acute care hospitals, military, state and federal government, social-profit, and private for-profit agencies. Her primary clinical practice has been in individual psychotherapy, as well as co-facilitating therapy and psycho-educational groups, for a wide range of conditions, using diverse theoretical approaches and behavioral health optimization techniques. Shanna has extensive experience in program development/management, mental health evaluation/assessment, case management, volunteer management, crisis intervention, suicide risk analysis and prevention, conflict resolution, and advocacy. Prior to her current position, she managed the Care Management department at a local community hospital. Shanna is relatively new to the Portland area, and in her free time, she enjoys exploring all that the area has to offer with her family, friends, her loyal Labradoodle Maggie, and energetic Pit bull rescue, James.

Mario Bolivar Jr., LCSW
Director, Military Programs

Mario, MSW, LCSW, received his undergraduate degree in Psychology as a member of the scholar’s program at Portland State University. He also completed his graduate degree at Portland State University. Mario has extensive clinical and administrative experience in community mental health psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment programs, and as a contributor to the Department of Defense Military Programs throughout the Western States and the Pacific Northwest. Mario has a special interest in multicultural treatment, military trauma and substance use disorders.

Suzi Mattox, MS, BSN, RN
Director of Nursing

Suzi Mattox has a background in transformational leadership and organizational development. She obtained a Master of Science in Organization Management from the University of Providence (formerly University of Great Falls), and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Portland. Suzi’s previous roles in health care include psychiatric nurse, senior clinical nurse informatics specialist, infection prevention nurse, employee health nurse and inpatient hospice care. She is passionate about providing a safe, reliable and exceptional patient care experience.
